About this position

NDB seeks a Product Manager to lead product strategy and commercialization for our nano diamond battery technology. This role bridges technical innovation and market needs, defining product roadmap, customer requirements, and go-to-market strategy for revolutionary energy solutions. You will develop product strategy and roadmap aligned with market opportunities, define product requirements working with engineering and customers, lead go-to-market planning and product launches, and conduct market research and competitive analysis. This position requires a blend of technical understanding, business acumen, and customer focus. This is a high-impact role shaping how breakthrough nuclear battery technology reaches customers. You'll work across engineering, sales, marketing, and executive teams to bring transformative energy products to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of product management experience in energy, cleantech, or hardware products
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex engineering concepts
  • Experience defining product requirements and working with engineering teams
  • Proven track record launching successful products from concept to market
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with product roadmapping and prioritization frameworks
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong business and financial acumen

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and vision for nano diamond battery solutions
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis
  • Define product requirements, specifications, and success metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering on product development and technical feasibility
  • Lead go-to-market planning including positioning, pricing, and launch strategy
  • Work with sales team on customer engagement and product demonstrations
  • Analyze product performance metrics and iterate based on customer feedback
  • Present product strategy and updates to executive team and board of directors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with battery technology, energy storage, or nuclear products
  • Background in B2B or industrial product management
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for nuclear or energy products
  • Experience in startup or high-growth technology companies
  • Technical degree in engineering or science
  • Product management certification (Pragmatic Institute, Product School, etc.)
