About this position

NDB seeks an Executive Assistant Intern to support the CEO and executive leadership team in managing operations, communications, and strategic projects. This internship provides unique exposure to executive leadership, startup operations, and the clean energy industry. You will assist with executive scheduling and meeting coordination, support preparation of presentations and board materials, help with research and analysis for strategic initiatives, and coordinate communications and stakeholder relationships. This position offers insight into executive decision-making and startup management. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
  • Strong academic record (3.5+ GPA preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive attitude and strong initiative

Responsibilities

  • Assist CEO with calendar management and meeting scheduling
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and board materials
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and market opportunities
  • Coordinate executive communications and correspondence
  • Help organize company events, board meetings, and investor meetings
  • Manage executive travel arrangements and logistics
  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or work experience in professional office environment
  • Experience supporting executives or senior management
  • Strong interest in clean energy, sustainability, or technology
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Availability for 3-6 month internship commitment
