About this position
NDB Inc. is seeking a dynamic Chief Commercial Officer to lead our go-to-market strategy and drive commercial success for our revolutionary energy technology. You will be responsible for sales, business development, marketing, and customer success across multiple sectors including aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, and consumer electronics. This role requires deep B2B sales expertise, strong relationships in target industries, and the ability to articulate complex technology value propositions to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- 12+ years of commercial experience with 5+ years in CCO, VP Sales, or similar leadership role
- Proven track record in B2B sales of complex technology solutions
- Deep relationships in aerospace, defense, automotive, or energy sectors
- Experience selling to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies
- Strong understanding of technology commercialization and go-to-market strategy
- Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
- Experience building and leading sales and business development teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategy across all market segments
- Lead sales, business development, marketing, and customer success teams
- Build and manage relationships with key customers in aerospace, defense, automotive, and energy
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
- Develop pricing strategy and negotiate major contracts
- Represent NDB at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on customer requirements
- Build strategic partnerships and distribution channels
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior CCO or VP Sales experience in deep-tech, energy, or advanced materials
- Successful track record of $100M+ revenue generation
- Experience with government contracting (DOD, DOE)
- International sales and business development experience
- Experience launching breakthrough technologies in new markets
