About this position

NDB seeks a Business Development Intern to support market research, partnership development, and customer engagement for our nano diamond battery technology. This internship provides experience with B2B sales, market analysis, and strategic partnerships in the clean energy sector. You will assist with market research and competitive analysis, support identification and outreach to potential customers and partners, help develop business presentations and proposals, and participate in customer meetings and industry events. This position offers exposure to business development, sales strategy, and clean energy markets. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in business development, sales, or entrepreneurship to gain real-world experience. You'll help bring breakthrough energy technology to market while developing valuable business skills.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong academic record (3.0+ GPA preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software
  • Professional demeanor and business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research on energy storage, battery, and clean energy markets
  • Identify and research potential customers, partners, and distribution channels
  • Support outreach to prospective customers and partnership targets
  • Help develop business presentations, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Assist with CRM management and lead tracking
  • Participate in customer meetings, demos, and industry conferences
  • Analyze competitive landscape and market opportunities
  • Prepare reports and presentations on business development activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or experience in business development or sales
  • Familiarity with energy industry, battery technology, or B2B markets
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in entrepreneurship or startup business development
  • Availability for 3-6 month internship commitment
