About this position
NDB seeks a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to establish and manage supply chain operations for our nano diamond battery technology. This role is responsible for sourcing specialized materials and equipment, managing supplier relationships, and building resilient supply chains for nuclear and semiconductor materials. You will develop procurement strategy for specialized nuclear and semiconductor materials, establish supplier qualification and management processes, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships, and ensure supply chain compliance with nuclear regulations. This position requires expertise in strategic sourcing, particularly for advanced materials and regulated industries. Join a growing clean energy company at a critical stage of commercialization. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of procurement and supply chain management experience
- Experience sourcing specialized materials for nuclear, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience
- Knowledge of supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with procurement regulations for nuclear materials and controlled substances
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategy for nuclear materials, semiconductors, and equipment
- Source and qualify suppliers for specialized materials (radioisotopes, SiC, diamond substrates)
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors
- Manage supplier relationships and performance monitoring
- Ensure supply chain compliance with NRC, export controls, and other regulations
- Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for critical materials
- Implement procurement systems and processes (RFQ, PO management, inventory control)
- Collaborate with engineering and operations on material specifications and lead times
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with nuclear material procurement and NRC licensing
- Background in semiconductor or advanced materials supply chains
- Familiarity with export controls (ITAR, EAR) for nuclear and dual-use materials
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent
- Experience with supplier audits and quality certifications
- International sourcing and logistics experience
