About this position
NDB seeks a Marketing & Communications Intern to support marketing strategy, content development, and corporate communications for our nano diamond battery technology. This internship provides experience with B2B marketing, content marketing, and strategic communications in the clean energy industry. You will assist with marketing content creation (blogs, case studies, white papers), support website content and SEO optimization, help develop marketing campaigns and materials, and participate in event planning and coordination. This position offers exposure to technology marketing, brand development, and industry communications. This is a great opportunity for students interested in marketing or communications to gain experience marketing breakthrough technology. You'll develop professional marketing skills while contributing to clean energy innovation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
- Strong academic record (3.0+ GPA preferred)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Creative thinking and attention to brand consistency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic design tools
- Understanding of digital marketing principles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Interest in technology marketing and clean energy
Responsibilities
- Write marketing content (blog posts, case studies, white papers, newsletters)
- Support website content updates and SEO optimization
- Help develop marketing campaigns and promotional materials
- Assist with email marketing campaign creation and execution
- Research industry trends and competitive marketing strategies
- Support event planning and coordination (webinars, conferences, trade shows)
- Create marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, one-pagers)
- Track marketing metrics and prepare performance reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or experience in marketing or communications
- Writing portfolio or samples of marketing content
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Basic SEO knowledge and website content management
- Experience with B2B marketing or technology marketing
- Availability for 3-6 month internship commitment
